On Sunday we had a nice, stay in our PJ’s, play games, cook and lay low at home kind of day.
Maisie and I made some Lime Jewels but she was more into eating her Veggie Stix than actually helping me.
She was of course much more interested in the Lime Jewels once they were ready to eat.
Putting on the charm trying to get me to say yes to her getting the entire plate of cookies.
These Lime Jewels are one of my favorite cookies, light, tangy, crunchy, delicious and to top it off, they freeze really well and I’ve been known to eat them straight from the freezer, they’re just that good! Click on the picture and make these cookies, you won’t be disappointed.

Ooh, those are pretty cookies!
ReplyDeleteThat first picture of Maisie with her eyes half closed and eating a snack while she half-heartedly mixes just cracks me up.
Good looking cookies. How do you have time to do such fantastic cooking. I am lucky if I cook a homecooked meal 5 times a week. The other two usually are take out or frozen items. Sometimes those homecooked meals are a can of chili and some biscuits! I am way impressessed with you!
