Maisie doesn’t need glasses but she loves pretending that she does. She says that they make her smarter and I think she looks so studious and of course stinkin’ cute when she wears them. Thursday afternoon she decided that she needed to wear them while doing homework.
Today was a busy day for Maisie as she returned, after being off for the summer, to her swimming lessons. After swimming many, many laps she then had a three hour gymnastics practice. Tomorrow is her first away meet of the season and I’m hoping that she does well and has a wonderful time. Since I spent the day driving Maisie around and running errands it was sandwiches for dinner, our favorite Roast Beef & Garlic Herb Cheese Sandwich. Click on the picture to be taken to the recipe.

That Maisie is one busy girl! And so totally cute in her glasses. (I did the same thing for a bit in college; wore glasses on test days to be smart, even though my eyes were perfect. LOL!)

ReplyDeleteMy girl LOVES to wear her glasses too! LOL! We actually went to the dollar store and bought very cute purple reading glasses then popped the lenses out :)
