On a binge

Not really sure if the title refers to Maisie or to me but probably both of us.  I seem to be doing a lot of cooking with bacon as I’ve recently made Piggy-Out Cookies, Holy Guacamole, Baked Egg Cups two ways, Potato Salad with Bacon and Grilled Corn & Bacon Pudding all containing bacon.  The other day though I went off the carts making bacon candy.  Okay so it wasn’t actually candy…well maybe it was…but no matter Maisie couldn’t get enough of it eating an entire half pound all.by.herself!!

IMG_9701eIt got to the point where I had to take the plate away from her as she would have polished off the entire pound.  It doesn’t matter if you are addicted to eating bacon or a casual take it or leave it bacon eater, I’m telling you this Spicy Brown Sugar Bacon is crack, you just can’t get enough and once it’s gone you’ll be thinking, dreaming and craving the stuff.  I’ve vowed not to make it for at least a month and we’ll see if I can keep that promise because both Maisie and I want it now…and as it’s only three ingredients I have them all in the house right now…oh my!!

Check out the Crack I mean Spicy Brown Sugar Bacon recipe over on Cook Lisa Cook, I dare you to make it and if you do I’ll bet that you can’t eat just one piece.  While you’re there take a look around, become a subscriber and enjoy some of my other delicious recipes including: Mango Lassi, Stir-Fried Asparagus with Water Chestnuts, Ginger & Cashews, Curried Roast Chicken Pieces with Spicy Sweet Potato & Carrots, Grilled Corn & Bacon Pudding, Oriental Chicken Salad, Potato Salad with Bacon, Coffee Crusted Steak, Home Style Chicken Curry, Watermelon FrostyMango Gazpacho, Toll House Double Stuff Oreo Brownies, Long Beans with Walnuts, Blacksmith Pizza, Rhubarb Crisp, Laksa, Math Book No Bake Cookies, Aloo Gobi, Mint Lassi, Red Curry Chicken, Lamb Curry, Grilled Corn, Avocado & Tomato Salad with Honey Lime Dressing, Baked Egg Cups Two Ways, Thai Peanut Salad, Holy Guacamole, Cantaloupe Agua Fresca, Wallaby Darned, Piggy-Out Cookies, Wicked Good New England Lobster Roll, Long Beans with Garlic, Super Simple Summer Shrimp Salsa Salad, Grandma’s Teriyaki Steak, Watermelon Tomato Gazpacho, Red Chinese Long Beans with Peppers & Red Curry, 24-Layer Crêpe Cake Fig & Watermelon Salad, Grilled Chèvre & Fig Panini, Spicy Asian Cucumber Salad, Grilled Prawns.

  2. Tempting. Wow. You are creative. I've been doing a bacon and artichoke pasta that is to die for. To me anything that involves bacon rocks.
