New cell phone pictures

photo eWell not *my* new iPhone 5 which was pre-ordered before Eammon’s BUT his showed up on the day it was released and mine…well it’s still being “processed”…what’s the deal with that?

photo (8)eI am doing much better after my stint in the ER Monday morning, it’s amazing how high dose IV drugs can make an immediate difference.  I’m still getting my voice back, coughing and not feeling 100% but sooooo much better and on the mend.  I hope to soon have my energy back and begin taking pictures of my sweet little Maisie Miao Miao again.

I have a new Improv Cooking Challenge recipe posted over on Cook Lisa Cook.  This month the participating bloggers were asked to make any recipe of their choosing using the two given ingredients of zucchini and brown sugar.  Of course my mind immediately went to something sweet and baked but I decided to go in another direction and made instead a wonderful new dish, Zucchini with Onion & Brown Sugar.  The bit of “sugar-free” brown sugar that I used in making the dish brought out and enhanced the natural sweetness of the vegetables and helped transform the basic ingredients into something magical.  This recipe may sound a bit different but I highly recommend that you give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.  Click on the link or the picture to be taken to the recipe.
