Maisie loves feeding the birds

I’m still playing catch up with my Aruba posts.  I’ve just been so busy that finding the time to post has been difficult and even though the posts have been mostly pictures, I just haven’t been able to get them up, thus another back dated post.

Each day after lunch I’d microwave pop a bag of popcorn to take to the beach for our afternoon snack.  I’m positive that the birds enjoyed more of it than we did as Maisie loved feeding them.  I’m not a bird person but since the time Maisie was a little girl she’d sit perfectly still for long periods of time on the beach, trying to get the birds to eat out of her hand.  Through the years she’s been very successful and patiently feeds the birds each day we’re on the beach.

Definitely not bird food but absolutely delicious are these Thin Mint Irish Coffees that we’re sipping on right now, so I figured I’d share.  These are quite strong and tipsy delicious.  In fact, I should now get off the computer before I drink any more and start typing gibberish.  Just click on the picture for the recipe.
