The morning after

Sure looks like Maisie had a rough night!

IMG_0767eIn my frenetic craziness with Maisie’s hectic schedule, my cooking for her last meet, my stressing at her competition, waiting until the last possible moment to pack for our cruise and trying to get out of the house at our scheduled time, well I snapped these pictures but never got them posted.

IMG_0766eMaisie’s hair is always wild the morning after a meet as she likes to keep her hair in its bun so that the following day she has “curly” hair like her Mama.

IMG_0765e My poor tired girl with her funky hair.  Love her!!

I have a new recipe which will be posting on Friday over on Cook Lisa Cook so be sure to check it out as it’s quite delicious and perfect for this time of year.  For now though some food porn of something that I’ve been craving and will be making again next week, Tom Yam Ghoong (Spicy Shrimp Soup).  I adore this soup and it’s perfect for lunch or dinner especially now that the weather is cooling down and there’s a chill in the air.  Click on the picture to be taken to the recipe and don’t be afraid if you see some beady little eyes in the pictures staring at you…maybe this soup would be good for a Halloween scare!Tom Yam Ghoong

  1. Oh, those pictures are hilarious! Maisie is so cute, even with wild hair.

I made soup tonight too (baked potato) because we also have a chill in the air; rain and upper fifties. How chilly is it down south? ;)
