After Maisie got herself all prettied up with some make-up she and I made Blacksmith Pizza for dinner. I had partially cooked dough in the refrigerator so dinner came together in just minutes.
Maisie loves to make her own, spreading the sauce and adding a thick layer of cheese. Then she’s happy to go off and play while I stand outside in the heat and humidity grilling the pizzas. Thankfully they only take a minute or two and then dinner is on the table.
Okay Mama here’s your picture now let me eat my pizza. (Just as a note, Maisie only eats one pizza but I always make an extra because the next morning she always wants one for breakfast so this way I’m prepared.)
I was a happy girl too as I enjoyed a pizza of Roasted Garlic & Onion Jam, fresh figs & chèvre, my absolute favorite, pure delight.

I saw a crepe today that included figs and chevre, but I can't remember what else was in it. I remember thinking it sounded like something Lisa might like. :) (I chose the crepe with strawberries and Belgian chocolate - so naughty, but I'm not sorry one tiny bit!)
