Gymnast tent

IMG_3639e After gymnastics practice this morning Maisie and Brooke played together for a while at the house.  They did a bit of gymnastics play together but truly they were both a bit tired from a long week and an early, intense practice so they decided to turn the mats into a tent and have some “down” time. They happily climbed into their tent with a big bowl of freshly popped popcorn and enjoyed their snack and a little quiet girl time together.

Here’s a perfect recipe for both those who love to cook and those who say that they can’t even boil water.  A gorgeous, creamy, rich and flavorful spaghetti sauce and it only uses three…yes three ingredients!  Even better, none of those ingredients are specialty hard-to-find items, there’s no slicing, dicing or anything fancy and this sauce freezes beautifully.  When I say simple and delicious, it sums up this sauce.  Check out this fabulous Tomato Sauce with Onion & Butter over on Cook Lisa Cook.

  1. I loved days like that as a child. I remember them well. I would love to still be able to have a day in a fort.

Maise is so cute and I am so glad you read the part of Ausitn's letter where he thanked you. He sure loved the things you sent.

Thanks so much Lisa. It is nice to know that there are others out there who will be kind to my children too.
