The ponderous Ponderosa

About two weeks ago I posted about the wonderful surprise Ponderosa Lemon that Alyson & Ford sent to us and I said that their timing was perfect as I had an upcoming cooking challenge for which I needed lemons and this one baby would provide all the juice that I needed and more.


I can now reveal what I did with some of the two cups worth of juice that I extracted from the lemon as today is posting day for my Improv Cooking Challenge.  For this challenge, each month all the participating bloggers are given two ingredients and asked to make any recipe of their choosing which contain those two ingredients.  This month the two assigned challenge ingredients were lemons and sour cream.  So today I posted over on Cook Lisa Cook my recipe for Ponderosa Lemon & Sour Cream Tart.  This tart was pure silky, creamy & tangy perfection and even better, super simple to make.  Hope that you’ll give this tart a try, just click on the picture to be taken to the recipe.
