I love watching Maisie at the gym. Friday morning Maisie did two hours of intense conditioning followed by three hours of practice and more conditioning later in the afternoon. So what did she do in-between and after her practices? She demonstrated and practiced all the exercises she had just done done at the gym. Maisie not only loves learning skills but she adores conditioning.
If you’ve ever done or seen the Pilates 100, well that’s essentially what Maisie was doing but with her legs. She did sets in both straddle and pike position. If I didn’t see it with my own eyes I would have said that it was impossible but she did it. I couldn’t last 5 minutes doing what she does and yet after five hours of tough workouts she wasn’t the least bit tired or sore and she said it was fun! She IS the A-Maisie-ing Maisie!
New Crazy Cooking Challenge recipe over on Cook Lisa Cook. This month we were challenged to find the Ultimate Chicken Noodle Soup recipe and I think I did when I found and made a totally delicious Thai Chicken Noodle Soup. Not only was it “Maisie safe” but it was easy to make and Eammon and I could spice it up a little at the table with a dash of Sriracha. With the cold weather now upon us, this is a perfect soup to make, enjoy and even to keep in the freezer for an easy anytime meal. As always, click on the picture to be taken to the recipe.
