Maisie and her mats have taken over

Maisie adores her panel mats and uses them every day for all sorts of activities. Yesterday I showed a picture of Maisie using her mats to turn my dining room into an animal corral and dining fort but most of the time they're used for gymnastics as she lays them out running through the dining and living room and does what she loves best.

This video was taken back on December 2 but I was so busy with a couple of projects and then we left for Aruba and then it was Christmas Eve and Christmas and then…well I got busy and forgot.  So I’m just now getting this video posted.

I love Maisie’s huge sigh right before she does her round-off back-handspring, she’s a funny little girl.

Last night I raided my freezer and pantry to come up with something for dinner and I just made things up as I went along. I came up with Seared Scallops with Creamy Pesto & Lemon Pepper Pasta and it was pure delight. Not only was it delicious but it was also a quick and easy meal to make and to clean up so I’ll be making it again.  Click on the picture to be taken to the recipe.
