Maisie: “Mama, you’re no longer 29!”
Me: “Can’t I just stay 29?”
Maisie: “Seriously Mama you’re 30 now…Seriously!”
Then she hands me a card which contains a caution sign…
Seriously I should be wearing this sign as a placard front and back as I’ve had way too many senior moments lately. Searching for my cell phone to look up a number for someone and not being able to find it…because I was talking on it! Looking high and low for my glasses, which I very rarely wear, and going crazy because I couldn’t find them since I was wearing them. And my favorite, walking into a room to get or do something and completely forgetting why I had gone in there and what I was looking for or needed to do. I guess after celebrating untold numbers of anniversaries of my 29th birthday, turning 30 has really done me in!
A big thank you to everyone who sent along birthday cards, notes, emails, FB notes and phone calls, they were all loved and appreciated.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Lisa!
ReplyDeleteSeems to me there should be a picture of some seriously delicious birthday cake or something. ;)
Ah, yeah, that period after "happy birthday" was supposed to be a comma. Makes for a funny sentence those. Lisa!
ReplyDeleteThough, not those. Good grief! Time for me to close the computer and walk away.
ReplyDeleteROFL!! Love the sign! Happy 30th Birthday to you. ;D
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday and Happy Mother's day, too!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday a little late! :) Hope you had a great day.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Lisa! Gee, I wish I was just turning 30. ;) Maybe then I would have the energy to keep up with Lauren.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, the pic of Maisie in this post is gorgeous...just captured the right moment. She's such a beauty!
