Neighborhood Easter egg hunt

Yesterday afternoon I took Maisie to our neighborhood Easter egg hunt and it was a perfect day for the little ones to be outside and searching for treats.  This is the first year that we’ve participated as other years we’ve either been away or the hunt had been cancelled due to bad weather.

IMG_6462Before the hunt began and while waiting for everyone to arrive, there were some fun crafts for the children.  The children made bunny bags which they would fill with treats at the end of the afternoon.

IMG_6492Maisie had fun finding eggs but she was very particular in which ones she would choose.

It was a fun afternoon and Maisie’s now looking forward to her next egg hunt.

  1. So fun! Looks like a great time! We went to our neighborhood Easter Egg hunt on Sat. :D

  2. Fun!!
We're having a hunt and brunch for about 50 people at our house this weekend. Should be good fun -- busy though...

  3. What fun! Our hunt was canceled because of the rain, wind and tornadoes! Did all that mess miss you guys? We are crossing our fingers for next weekend.

P.S. Where did you find Maisie's darling outfit. Emi would be ALL over that - the pink and fluff, perfect! :)

  4. HOw awesome. We use to do that in our neighborhood rain, snow or shine. We haven't done it for about 4 years.....i have no idea why we stopped. Maybe I need to reorganize it for next year.

Love Maise's shirt it is so pretty. She is always so darling and she always has a smile!
