Birthday girl high tea

IMG_2752Today I took my birthday girl out for a Mom & Daughter high tea.

IMG_2757Maisie started with a cup of chocolate rooibos tea (with lots of honey) and tomato soup.

IMG_2758Followed by tea sandwiches, pastries, scones & lemon curd.  Maisie enjoyed her first tea and our girl time together.  Now she’s “patiently” waiting for K & A to get home from school so that she can play with her friends.

  1. She's so freakin' adorable! What fun you guys have together! I can hardly believe that she's *only* four (for a couple more days, that is). She's so good at so many things and she's done so much that it seems like she should be seven or something!

I hope she has a wonderful 5th birthday!

  3. Oh YUM - high tea! I had high tea once (as an adult) at a very fancy hotel and felt like a princess. Lucky Maisie!
