I'm still waiting for our final itinerary but so far our trip shapes up as follows:
Dec 7: Fly to Hong Kong
Dec 10: Fly to Chongqing
Dec 11: GOTCHA DAY, METCHA DAY, MAISIE DAY, this is THE day!!
Dec 16: Fly to Guangzhou
Dec 21: Fly to Beijing
Dec 25: Fly HOME!!!!

ReplyDeleteOh Lisa! I am sooo excited for you guys!!! And Chongqing.... it's an amazing city... polution was pretty bad so if you guys have sinus issues, pack what you need. I am so excited for you guys... you leave in 7 days!
ReplyDeleteA suggestion....A couple of us picked up the book:
"Chongqing, A Beautiful Mountain City". It's put out by China Travel and Tourism Press. It has amazing photos and is written in Chinese and English. We got ours in a local bookstore while I have read of others who visited earlier who picked their copy in the hotel shop.

I can't think of a better Christmas gift. No way, never. And, Dec 12th is my birthday, so I'll always remember your 1st date together. I had Nov 3rd on my mind, and now it will be Dec 11...Can't wait to see your family when I'm in Atlanta!
