This was the view from our dock around 7 a.m. So tell me why does such a lovely morning sky lead to such a lousy overcast, rainy day. Guess the cold, gray day was an excuse for me to clean out my pantry and get rid of ~~>
Why you may ask am I throwing them out? Because the little cookie monsters are in the neighborhood selling again. Which means, these little morsels are at least a year old and I fear that one of the boxes of Thin Mints is from 2004!
I'm just duly impressed that the cookies could stay around that long in your cupboard. What restraint. I've personally been hit up by no less than 5 cookie monsters this year so far. I might as well velcro the damn samoas to my ass and save myself the trouble.
ReplyDeleteGreat view!
ReplyDeleteYes, I can tell its that time again. The Edy's Girl Scout Ice Cream is available. {sigh} Did we decide on the amount of the adoption "wait" gain yet?
ReplyDeleteThose Thin Mints would not have lasted a year with me. I would have devoured them in a day.
ReplyDeleteThe view is gorgeous!
Ummm.....I'd still eat 'em.
ReplyDeleteI'm so ashamed.
:-)
Send them to me! I'll snarf down the Samoas!!!

Is it too late to call dibs on those? I would totally eat them, I don't care if they are a year old! Must be my cheap streak ...
ReplyDeleteWhat's your secret for keeping Thin Mints in your house for that long? They don't last a day at our house!
ReplyDeleteI have already been suckered into buying cookies but I worked out the point value and ordered the Lemon Cookies and the Do-Se-Dos (sp). I have never had the lemon cookie....I hope it is edible! Oh and you don't want to know the value on the Samoas.....
ReplyDeleteThe art of reading Sunrises & Sunsets as told to me by my father... (who ripped it off from someone else).
ReplyDeleteRed sky at night, sailor's delight. Red sky in the morning, sailor take warning.

You have a view from your own dock- how cool is that.
ReplyDeleteNow, about throwing out the Thin Mints, that's just wrong.
