Maisie’s timeline practice

Maisie and her classmates had to make timelines of significant events in their life.  They needed to use 6-8 pictures, write a little blurb about each and do a presentation.  Well today was presentation day and though I wasn’t there, I did record Maisie doing a practice run yesterday so here’s Maisie’s presenting her timeline.

Yesterday I posted a very special recipe over on Cook Lisa Cook for a delicious Shrimp & Vegetable Madras Curry.  I made this recipe as a tribute to Daniel Saraga of the Haggis and the Herring.  Daniel was also a member of Secret Recipe Club and through the contact I had with him via our cooking blogs, the SRC yahoo group and Facebook page, he was always kind, helpful and had a wonderful sense of humor.  Well unfortunately Daniel unexpectedly passed away a few weeks back leaving behind his wife, two young sons and a baby on the way.  My heart just breaks for his family and friends.  Daniel was also a good online friend to many and so a group of SRC members got together do a tribute day to him by each recreating one of the recipes on his blog and yesterday was the day we all posted.  I chose to recreate Daniel’s Chicken Madras as he had a passion for curries and we adore them.  I look forward to making many more of Daniel’s recipes in the future.  Daniel & his recipes will be missed by many.  Click on the link or the picture to be taken to my Shrimp & Vegetable Madras Curry recipe and all the recreated recipes in the tribute.
