Sunday afternoon Maisie and her teammates competed at the Candy Cane Invitational at Cobb Challengers Gymnastics. This was Maisie's third and final competition of the season as we'll be away in Aruba for State Meet in December. I have to say, this wasn't a great meet for Maisie as she was a bit out of sorts and not at her best. I think that our busy day Saturday and the late night probably didn't help, but Maisie enjoyed the meet, had a great time, was proud of what she did and accomplished so I can’t ask for anything more. Even though this wasn’t her best meet overall she did well, just not up to what she has done in the past and is capable of doing.

Bars: 1st ~ Taylor, 2nd ~ Mara, 3rd ~ Maisie, 4th ~ Gracie
Beam: 1st ~ Maisie, 2nd ~ Taylor, 3rd ~ Saige, 4th ~ Mara
Floor: 1st ~ Taylor, 2nd ~ Mara, 3rd ~ Grace, joint 4th ~ Tia & Maisie.
All Around: 1st ~ Taylor, 2nd ~ Mara, 3rd ~ Maisie, 4th ~ Gracie, 5th ~ Saige, 6th ~ Tia.
Level 2 team final: 1st place ~ North Metro Gymnastics, 2nd place ~ Southern Gymnastics.

ReplyDeleteGreat job Maisie! I have Little T watch your videos and tell her that soon she'll be doing that too. She gets very excited and always cheers Maisie on. Then she'll actually want to practice!
