I have been very sick since last Sunday, running a fever of well over 100, so when I saw 97.2 (yes, that is my normal temperature) on the thermometer this morning, I was ready to dance for joy. I would have too, if I wasn't so darn exhausted and sore from five days of attempting to cough up a lung or two. I sound like Barry White impersonating Marge Simpson and all I can dream about is being able to lay flat in bed for more than 18 seconds without my lungs filling with fluid.
I feel so out of the loop, being 5 days behind on blogs, boards and emails, but I'm just too tired to sit at the computer for more than a few minutes. Plus, getting to the computer involves climbing Mount Everest, OK it's only one flight of stairs, but I'm sick!
Off to try and nap in the recliner. Catch up with everyone soon.

ReplyDeleteYeah. Um ok. I'm feeling guilty.
ReplyDeleteI think that funk came from my house.
Some people bring wine or at least decorative coasters to a party. We bring group A streptococcus bacteria. :P
m3 may send x's & o's... but I guess we'll refrain and try and keep our plague to ourselves. Glad you are feeling better though.

Sorry to hear that you are feeling ill. I got a flu bug in October and literally didn't get out of bed for three days. It is not fun.

ReplyDeleteIt must be going around...last night at my soccer game I really thought I would pass out, not from exhaustion, more from this dizzy, flu feeling!
Get better soon and thanks again for all you have done for me!!
Sorry your are sick.... Glad you are on the mend. Soon you will climb Mt Everest and be back on the blog and boards know!! I find eatting expensive chocolates really help fight a bad cold or flu.
