Can't teach this old dog new tricks
My brain has been uncooperative and said a big fat N - O to Monovision. After four days of unrelenting nausea, headaches, winking and blinking I returned to the eye doc to say that my brain was not figuring out which eye to see out of and I would succumb to using reading glasses when necessary. So now I am the old fart proud owner of over-the-counter +1.0 vision readers.

ReplyDeleteI think they are stylin'. Of course, some of your fellow commuters might miss your winks ;-)
Hey Honey, Welcome to the crowd!!!!!! I tried monovision and gave up after one day! Sooo, Steinmart has adorable fun reading glasses at great prices!
ReplyDeleteI know Lisa, it's a sad, sad day! I swear it happened to me the day I turned 40!
Thanks for visitng our blog!! You will be fine. Old age - Ha! And double Haha. You haven't met us yet! We have been through the "eyes" thing. Join the club. Just think young and get those reading glasses. We will be adding you to our blog - using CCAI also. Great "discovering" you!
ReplyDeleteIs this what I have to look forward to?? LOL!!
ReplyDeleteI like them!!
Lisa :)
But they are darn cute.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could use the reading glasses that they have out there, seriously fun.
Thanks everyone for not making me feel like a really old person. The glasses aren't too bad and I only need them if the type is very small. I can sit and read a book with no trouble at all and hopefully my eyes won't get any worse. They are pretty cool glasses for cheapo's!
ReplyDeleteHee hee... welcome to the club! But I couldn't get the pink ones because my husband pointed out that he'll be needing to borrow them too! And he's 6 years younger than me (proof the being an old fart is contageous!)
