Maisie & Brooke, busy & strong girls

Maisie’s classmate and fellow gymnast Brooke came to play today.  Five and a half hours and the two of them barely stopped their gymnastics and running around, they had so much fun together.

IMG_2838eThis picture proves that they did stop and sit for a couple of minutes…and trust me, it was only a couple of minutes before they were up and moving again.

IMG_2840eThey barely made a dent in their popcorn before the gymnastics resumed.

After their snack they decided to take turns doing some exercises on the bar.  Over and over they lifted and contorted as only gymnasts can do.

IMG_2868eIMG_2869eIMG_2870eIMG_2871eIMG_2872eIMG_2873eOver and over… And then it was Brooke’s turn.

IMG_2861eIMG_2862eThey had smiles on their faces and made it look so easy…my body hurts just from watching them!

While the girls played, I cooked.  That recipe will hopefully be coming soon as I have yet to upload the pictures and write the post.  I’m so far behind and in fact have quite a backlog of half written recipe posts for Cook Lisa Cook but yesterday I did get a new one completed and posted so check it out.  Potato Crusted Pork Chops are not only delicious but there’re super simple to make and “Maisie safe.”  Just click on the picture for the recipe.
